Creating Healthy Smiles
One Mouth at a Time!
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. As we reopen our office and resume seeing patients you may notice some things are different. Infection control has always been and still is a top priority for our office. We follow the recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are always checking for any new guidelines or rulings to make sure we are up to date. We have recently implemented some additions to our practice to help protect our patients and staff. Some of these changes include:
o You will be asked some screening questions when you arrive for your appointment. We will also scan your forehead to take your temperature.
o We are limiting the amount of people in the office at one time. If possible please come to your
appointment alone or if not possible, have others wait in your vehicle during your appointment.
o Our waiting area will no longer offer magazines as they are difficult to clean and disinfect.
o Appointments will be managed to allow more time in between patients. This may mean that you are offered fewer options when scheduling your appointment.
o We have increased our personal protective equipment (PPE). We will be using washable gowns, face shields, and N95 masks during your treatment. We have installed HEPA filters to purify the air. We have added HVE attachments to collect any aerosols during your procedure. We are also utilizing cold fogging technology in between patients.
If you had a previously scheduled appointment that was cancelled and you would like to reschedule please call us at 412-963-6000 to do so. We will try to reach out to everyone that was cancelled and appreciate your patience and understanding as this may take some time.
At our office your smile is our top priority! Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with high-quality service in a relaxing atmosphere. When you visit our office you will experience all that modern dentistry has to offer including a comprehensive list of general, restorative and cosmetic dental services to meet the needs of the whole family. Our goal is to assist each patient in achieving and maintaining a healthy smile.
Recommended every 6 months, a dental check up and cleaning will help to make sure your smile is the healthiest possible.
